Gelato Bike Hijacked!

Cortona, Italy. I have fallen in love with Italy! Tuscany, to be more specific....For those of you who don't know, I went on a dream trip to Italy in Sept/Oct. I averaged 1 gelato (incredible Italian ice cream) per day. In Cortona we found this bike in front of a Gelateria. Unfortunately, it was only for show.

The sideways sunset is also Cortona... I'm sorry it's sideways. Please bear in mind I have only had a digital camera since June of this year, and learned how to put them in handy little folders on my computer just this week! Soon I may have a soundtrack and fancy side show just like Les! (please don't hold your breath on that one).

My favorite Gelato is chiaccolate fondente (dark chocolate, of course!) with a variety of other contrasting flavors TNTC (med speak for "too numerous to count"). Pictured are my cycling and traveling companions, Colleen Harker, and Joy Monson. Colleen did the footwork for the trip-- I just said "I'm in!," bought my plane ticket and a copies of "Italian for Dummies" and "Florence and Tuscany." More to come...

Dorth, you look like a babe in all of your pictures touring Italy. Very cool, you need to be our biking tour guide on the next trip there!
